My Journey How I got here

My path to becoming the Gen Z Workplace Expert wasn’t linear — which probably explains why I’m actually good at understanding people who don’t fit a linear mold.

I started in theater and singing opera. Before the doctorate, before Forbes, before the Fortune 500 boardrooms — I was learning what it means to truly understand human behavior. To read a room. To translate emotion into something an audience can feel and act on. Those skills never left me. They became the invisible infrastructure of everything I do as a consultant and speaker.

Over the next 20+ years, I built a career as a Fortune 500 management consultant.

I worked with organizations across aerospace, finance, retail, non-profits, and higher education. And I watched the same pattern play out, company after company: hire talented young people, fail to understand them, lose them, wonder why, hire more.

I founded Indiviti to break that cycle — and to give Gen Z professionals the insider access that the hiring process tries to keep from them.
